Anatomy Department

The anatomy department of the Queens Medical College, Kasur, is established in 2025 with the start of the QMCK. It is located on the first floor of the college building. The building is state-of-the-art and purpose-built. It is headed by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Amin. Under his umbrella, an Assistant Professor with his team of three demonstrators are working in the department. The department is spacious and air-conditioned and comprises two wings described as:
1- Southwest wing
2- Northeast wing
The southwest wing consisted of a fully equipped Histology Laboratory, a large spacious Dissection Hall containing dissection tables for the cadavers, a mortuary with the capacity of three cadavers, a bone-forming room, an embalming room, and a storeroom. In this wing, separate furnished offices with adequate space are available for the Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Demonstrators, and Paramedical & Clerical staff. A departmental library is also present in this wing. Three tutorial (demonstration) rooms fully equipped with audiovisual aids for teaching purposes are available.
A tearoom for the refreshments of the Faculty is also present in the Southwest wing. The only facility of the Anatomy Department present in the Northwest wing is the Anatomy Museum. The museum is beautifully equipped with Anatomy Models, Charts, and skeletons for teaching purposes.
