Our department is recognised for MBBS students teaching, house job & post graduation training in FCPS & MS as well. Workshops & seminars on different topics are being arranged frequently to maintain a learning environment for the department.

General surgery department encourages research for students & house officers, PG trainees & senior registrars. It focuses on topics covering better treatment option for the surgical diseases, latest innovations in therapies like endoscopic & robotics surgery & general awareness of the population e.g. gallstone & perianal diseases etc.

Our department provides services in treating all surgical entities like gallstones, goitre, hernias, perianal diseases, hepatobiliary, breast, parotid & colonic malignancies and all surgical emergencies. Our faculty is always available for other departments needing surgical help in patient management.

Our department is recognised for CPSP & MS post graduation training. Faculty members are CPSP supervisors & ATLS certified also which is very helpful for learning & training of junior colleagues.
