Department of Anaesthesia here at Queens Medical College Kasur (QMCK) induces an important surge for the role in medical education and patient care. As an HOD, we collaboratively focus on teaching students the principles and techniques of anaesthesia, pain management and considerable care. Students learn about different types of anaesthesia including general, regional and local anaesthesia. They receive training on hands in the administration of aesthetic, monitors patients during surgery and handle pain after surgery. The department also presents a risk of intensive care unit and emergency treatment, and prepares students for medical scenarios with real life. QMC has equipped modern anaesthesia work station, simulation laboratory and advanced surveillance systems to ensure high quality training. Experienced faculty guides students through both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, and ensures that they are well prepared for clinical practice.
