Through hands-on learning, interactive teaching, and research, students gain a clear understanding of disease patterns, non-communicable diseases, environmental health, nutrition, and the epidemiology of population health.
The department places a strong emphasis on research initiatives, fostering a culture of quality research. The Institutional Research Committee (IRC) ensures the quality assurance of research projects, while the Research Cell provides comprehensive support to students and faculty. These efforts aim to enhance the research culture and contribute to evidence-based public health practices.
